Clitheroe

Situated just outside of the town of Clitheroe, this caravan park is within a pleasant walk of a 12-century Norman keep and a museum that will keep history buffs entertained. Manchester can easily be reached by train, as can notable sites of interest in the region. Caravanners will also be able to visit the Knowsley Safari Park and enjoy strolls along the banks of the River Ribble, which flows alongside the campsite.

Both hard standing and grass pitches are available with electrical hook-ups, while the site is equipped with payphones, Wi-Fi and battery charging facilities. There are dedicated accessible facilities and a parent and baby room, as well as showers and toilets. Pets are welcome at the site, which has 80 pitches in total.

Open from 5 March to 29 November, the caravan park has nightly fees ranging £5.95 to £9.35 for adults and £2.70 to £2.95 for children, while members can acquire special family deals for between £18.30 and £23.55 per night depending on the season. Pitches cost £7.10 for non-members each night, while Club Service Pitches cost £3.75 each per night.
